Mr Bennett takes over the role from outgoing chairman Bob Bush, whose term on the DairyTas board has expired. Ringarooma dairy farmer Cheryl McCartie has taken on the role as deputy chairwoman. The elections where held at the DairyTas annual meeting at Smithton on Friday. At the meeting, Ouse dairy producer Grant Rogers was selected to join the board as a new director.
