Roberts stud stock coordinator Tim Woodham said the sale at the Deloraine Showgrounds drew spirited bidding from at least 115 registered buyers. The sale's 12 vendors included Graeme and Lachlan Collins from the Merribrook White Dorper Stud at Milloo in Victoria. Merribrook got the sale's top price of $4000 for a White Dorper ram bought by I Morrison from Pisa. Lachlan Collin's Merribrook West stud got the $2000 second highest price for a White Dorper ram bought by Mrs L Pittendrich. Jim Lyell's Brocburn stud sold the top priced Dorper ram for $1320 to B and D Hine at Karoola plus another ram for $1220 to J Cooper. Merribrook sold two White Dorper stud ewes for their top price of $1240, both to A and S Maguire at Lebrina. The sale's 10 White Dorper stud ewes averaged $1503. Brocburn sold the top priced Dorper ewe for $1160 to J Duncombe. The sale's 14 dorper stud ewes averaged $961. The sale's 49 White Dorper commercial ewes sold to $500, average $315 and 62 Dorper com- mercial ewes sold to $660, average $440.
