The number of Hobart-Melbourne flights has been cut from four return services a day to three, and one of those flights uses a smaller plane. It will use an Embraer E190, which has 104 seats, instead of a Boeing 737, which has either 140 or 180 seats. The number of Hobart-Sydney re- turn services has dropped from three to two a day, with the loss of an early- morning flight from Hobart. Tasmanian Freight Logistics Coun- cil chief Rob McGuire said the changes had a substantial impact on live seafood exporters. He said there were concerns over exports of lobster and live abalone. aNEW LOOKfor an OLD MATE ! Following recent changes made to Tasmanian Country, our delivery arrangements will also be changing.
