Capacity- building grants provide resources to consumer advocacy organisations to build their competency and capacity to participate in energy policy and regulatory decisions. The Consumer Advocacy Panel facilitates advocacy in the National Electricity and National Gas markets, so the views of consumers can impact on decision-making on market policy and regulation. To help address gaps in advocacy, the Panel encourages applications from organisations representing rural and regional consumers, small business and residential households. These works involve repairs to the bridge deck over both lanes of the bridge. Due to the nature of the works, all light vehicles will be detoured through the Ross Township. Heavy vehicles under 20 tonnes will also detour through Ross. Ross Bridge has a 20 tonne load limit. Heavy vehicles over 20 tonnes will continue to travel on the Midland Highway across the Macquarie River Bridge, but will be speed limited to ensure vibrations on the bridge deck are kept to a minimum whilst works are undertaken. Delays of up to 15 minutes may occur for heavy vehicles using the Macquarie River Bridge during daylight hours. The bridge will be closed to ALL TRAFFIC from 6pm to 11pm each night throughout the duration of works to allow concrete materials to cure. During this period NO VEHICLES will be permitted to cross Macquarie River Bridge. If heavy vehicles need to travel across the bridge at night they will need to be there strictly prior to 6pm. Any project enquiries should be directed to the Project Manager Darren McConnon at DIER on 6233 8871. LIVESTOCK HAY AND STRAW 5x4 round bales.
